The journey that inspired CalmerAge

CalmerAge® evolved through a combination of my professional background, academic study and my own experience of perimenopause.
While studying for my Master's in Mental Health, I chose to focus my dissertation on menopause because it was something I identified with. As I immersed myself in the research, I began to recognise aspects of my own experience and, with hindsight, realised that many of them were part of perimenopause.
That research also revealed something more.
Despite growing awareness of menopause, many women, myself included, reached this stage of life without truly understanding what was happening. Much of the conversation focused on physical symptoms, while the psychological and emotional impact—and the wider changes that often accompany midlife—received far less attention.
It was this realisation that shaped the direction of CalmerAge.
I came to see menopause not simply as a collection of symptoms, but as part of a much broader transition that can influence how we see ourselves, our relationships, our confidence and our sense of direction. It became clear to me that many women didn't just need more information. They needed the opportunity to pause, reflect and make sense of their own experience.
CalmerAge was created from that belief.
My hope is that it offers a calm, thoughtful space where women can better understand themselves through menopause and the wider transition of midlife. Because when we take the time to understand what is happening in our lives, we are better placed to move forward in a way that feels right for us.
Away from CalmerAge, I’m a mum to three grown-up children, a coffee lover and a lifelong learner, with a belief that we’re never too old to begin something new.

At CalmerAge, I believe that meaningful change begins with understanding ourselves.
Menopause can bring physical symptoms, but it can also raise deeper questions about identity, confidence, relationships and the way we want to live.
Rather than offering quick answers, my aim is to create thoughtful spaces where women can pause, reflect and make sense of their own experience.
That philosophy shapes everything created within CalmerAge, including RESETmeno®, the eight-week digital programme designed to support women through this stage of life with greater clarity, compassion and confidence.
Whether you're beginning to question what you're experiencing, looking for a different way to navigate menopause, or simply seeking a quieter space to pause and reflect, I hope you'll find something here that feels supportive.
Through CalmerAge, my aim is to create thoughtful resources that offer understanding, encouragement and space to find your own way forward.
If you're ready to take the next step, RESETmeno offers a gentle, structured place to begin.
